Back to blogging, Back to reality . . . and the addictive qualities of Sephora.

It's been quite a while since I last blogged, due to a combination of work,
a couple of celebratory graduation holidays (oh yeah I finished university!)
and well, being a little ill for a while. I can't believe though that it has been
two months and I have really missed it ...so here I am, officially back to
blogging, with some what of a hard reality bump back to normality as well
as I move back home and proceed with the job hunting and all... scary stuff.

No more essays!...A very weird thought

As soon as the final (eek) exams and essays were done and dusted I set off on
holiday to two different countries to celebrate (don't worry I am
never normally this extravagant with my vacations!), the second of
which was to New York. Unfortunately that was when I became ill...
not the best timing. But when I did actually manage to go out, I really did
see some amazing sites in an amazing city.

Maybe most importantly though I spotted a couple of Sephoras on these rare
opportunities I dared to go outside the hotel walls... And of course made a
                  beeline for them!

Quick tip for anyone who is a beauty addict ill in a foreign country:
Go to your nearest Sephora/ similar type of shop, and fill up your basket
until you're content that most of the store is in it. Buying a boat load of
products will not be good for your bank balance or cure your illness,
but will distract you and temporarily make you happy.

I didn't manage to take any pictures inside, but the choice was extensive,
with so many amazing brands to choose from that I think my jaw
dropped as I stared with indecisiveness at all the tempting products. Ah if only we
had Sephora in England! But needless to say I consoled myself by buying a
fair few things, including products from Tarte, Sephora Professional, MUFE
and a very sweet mini Nails Inc set that I obviously
couldn't say no to for $16...

Reviews will of course ensue soon as I go on an all-out
'testing new makeup-athon', now that I'm starting to feel better :)
Expect plenty more posts in the coming weeks!
