Seeing some amazing nail art designs on other lovely blogs of late, I decided to jump on
the bandwagon and give it go. Opting for a summer floral design with pastel shades, I actually
realised that I had no nail art pens at hand, so just used good old plain nail polish, ending up
with a somewhat haphazard but not awful first attempt...
I've been loving Revlon's pastel shades at the moment, and Charming and Sheer Blush are two
of my favourites. Nails Inc Bluebell is also such a lovely shade for summer which I used two coats
of as a base colour. Next I simply dotted Collection 2000's manicure white polish for the centre
of each flower and then carefully used Revlon's Charming to create small lines for the petals.
Hope that's somewhat passable as a first attempt! I'd also love to know if anyone has any
tips or tricks for more intricate designs or what try next :)
