As soon as Soap and Glory introduced their makeup line I dashed down to my nearest shop to see exactly what this exciting brand had to offer. After having tried their Good Face Foundation however I have to say I was left feeling a little disappointed, but as more and more exciting products are released I knew it wouldn't be long before I went back to test out a few more things. The newest addition to this retro cosmetic line is their moisturising lip balm which I got in the shade Juicy Peach. As ever the packaging doesn't disappoint and straight away drew me in with their well known vintage style. I love the name just as much as the presentation and the lip balm also comes in two other flavours; Sweet Coconut and Chocolate Cherry...which equally look incredibly tempting!
I quite like the tin, it's very sweet and pretty handy for popping in your handbag, although unfortunately dents quite easily as you might be able to see (I will admit I was a teensy bit clumsy that day). The price, £5, at first made me question whether or not to buy it as for a high street brand that's seems a little much for a simple lip balm...on the other hand though there is a fair amount of product to get through (no doubt it will last for a while) and the scent, oh my, that definitely persuaded me and my purse. . .
The lip balm is richly scented with strong notes of peach that smells absolutely gorgeous. This might not be to everyone's taste but for me I am in complete love. Soap and Glory have also made sure to pack this balm full of lovely ingredients including mango, lingonberry oil and pomegranate extract. As I get dry lips, especially in the winter, it's definitely important to me for a lip balm to actually moisturise, soften and protect my lips. 'A Great Kisser' lip balm does all three of these things and I'm just so impressed that it does exactly what it claims on the tin. If you're looking to try out something from the Soap and Glory cosmetic range then I couldn't recommend this product more, for me this was actually £5 very well spent ;)
Have you tried anything in the Soap and Glory cosmetic range?
